Technology is moving so fast that many things are becoming obsolete and new things are coming up. I still remember those days when I was very happy with my PC and was having the maximum available memory in my Hard disk and that was 20GB. You can password protect your data with the built-in data securing software which works with Windows only. So Mac users will have to use this gadget without the security feature. Data transfer speed is 20MB/sec for reading and 10MB/sec for writing. This gadgets is little expensive for every one at this stage at it cost about 900 USD. But I guess soon it will be in a well price range
